Rotating-partner round robin: you get a new partner every round and score for yourself, not your pair. It runs in four stages. Stage 1: two pools of 5, five rounds each, so you partner every player in your pool once (games to 11, win by 2). Re-pool: the top 2 from each pool plus the best 3rd-place player across both pools (the "Lucky Dog") form a new top pool of 5; everyone else forms the second pool. Stage 2: five more rounds in the re-formed pools (games to 11). Play-In: the top pool's 3rd and 4th seeds face the second pool's 1st and 2nd seeds — the 3rd seed picks a partner, the other two pair up — in one game to 15. Final: the top pool's 1st and 2nd seeds (who earn a bye) play the Play-In winner in one game to 15, win by 2. Standings break ties by wins, then point differential, then points scored.
